Farmhouse White Bread
I bought a bread machine over the weekend and tried my hand at it today. The first batch was a test one to 'break in' the machine and actually looked better than the second loaf but the second loaf recipe I tested made a bigger loaf so it filled out!
Add ingredients according to your bread machine instructions.
Farmhouse White Bread
1 cup milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
3 cups bread flour
1 1/2 teaspoons rapid or quick yeast

Add ingredients according to your bread machine instructions.
Makes a 1 1/2 pound loaf.
